The Brief
We were tasked with celebrating 150 years of Coors Banquet across global markets - US, Latin America, and Canada - while preserving the brand’s deep-rooted Americana identity. The challenge lay in creating films that resonated culturally and emotionally across regions without diluting the heritage of one of America’s most iconic beers.
Couple that with having to deliver the films on a limited budget, with edits that had different products for different markets, we certainly had our work cut out.
Our Approach
We brought in Toby Jones to direct. Not only did Toby bring the mixed media experience that the brief required, he is also the son of a brewer and pub owner and brought an authenticity not many directors to bring to the table.
With the creative, we leaned into the brand’s authenticity, following a tightly crafted storyboard while layering in multiple design elements that honoured its roots. By blending polaroid collage visual and country music iconography, we struck a balance between nostalgia and fresh modernity. We shot in Istanbul, Turkey utilising a local cast & crew.
On top of production, we handled all post in London delivering multiple assets, in various aspect ratios for different markets. We had the Yellowstone's own Cole Hauser guiding the narrative through voiceover. and visually, Toby’s distinctive grading and design choices unified the campaign with a resonant tone across all markets.
