Charlie Dennis is writer/director hailing from the West Midlands. He’s developed a cinematic style that anchors cutting edge filmmaking with unheard and underrepresented stories. Even his flair for set-pieces and high-octane moments deliver an honest punch. His work is influenced from real life, projecting moments that mean something - ensuring the most exciting stories stay profoundly human.
He began his career directing branded films, with one of his first commercials being sent off for a Cannes Lions. He's travelled the globe ever since, directing commercials for some of the world's most exciting brands.
Balancing the board between narrative and commercial, he’s recently directed splinter units for a new Sky TV series starring Kenneth Branagh, and directed a Slamdance nominated dystopian short film that tackles issues from the deaf community with the aim to improve accessibility in film.
